Storm Damage Documentation

We photograph test squares, impact evidence, soft metals, penetrations, and interior water evidence, then write findings in plain language tied to each photo so nothing depends on memory or verbal claims.

Inspection Reports and Scope Review

You receive a written inspection report and a scope of work describing the repairs the roof actually requires. If a carrier's scope omits items we documented, we can provide supplemental documentation for your file.

Adjuster Meeting Support

We can be at the property when your adjuster inspects so the same conditions are reviewed together on the roof. That single step resolves most scope disagreements before they become disputes.

How the Claim Process Generally Works

You report the damage to your carrier, an adjuster inspects, the carrier issues a scope and estimate, and approved work proceeds. Deductibles, depreciation, and supplements are between you and your carrier.

  • Get a documented roof inspection
  • File the claim with your carrier
  • Meet the adjuster on site
  • Review the carrier's scope
  • Approve the roofing scope of work
  • Complete the work and final documentation

Homeowner Responsibilities

You file your own claim, you communicate with your carrier, and you are responsible for your deductible. Mitigating further damage — tarping, controlling interior water — is generally your responsibility too, and we can perform that work.

Common Claim Mistakes

Waiting too long to report damage, throwing away damaged materials before documentation, accepting a scope without reviewing it, and hiring anyone who offers to waive or absorb your deductible.

We are a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster, and we do not negotiate claims on your behalf or promise that any claim will be approved. We also never offer to waive or absorb an insurance deductible.
